JOB OFFER – Assistant Risk Management & Reporting
Location :         CIAM – 26 Bd Malesherbes, Paris 8e
Description of the company : CIAM is an AIFM regulated by the AMF and by the FCA. CIAM manages regulated investment funds specialised in Event-Driven strategies: investment in companies listed in Western Europe and North America and involved in special operations and mergers & acquisitions. 
Missions : We are looking for a candidate for both a technical and an operational role, with a previous experience in portfolio and risk analysis. The aim is to work on the evolution of our processes, to perform risk and performance analysis and develop reporting tools; to participate in their daily production, set up reference databases and improve reporting tools to contribute to their automation and ensure the reliability and quality of results.
Within an entrepreneurial fund-management company, you will work directly with the COO / Risk Manager.
You will participate in:·       Monitoring daily and monthly risk reports: technical checks, analysis of the reports, set-up of the framework for analysing new investments·       Developing reporting and risk analysis tools, and their underlying databases·       Performing ad-hoc analyses for the Risk Manager and for investors·       Analysis of market movements and performance attribution· Simulation of market scenarios and risk limits, and back-testings.
Required skills and Experience : ·       Financial knowledge: investment products, risk analysis, performance measurement·       Mathematical knowledge: derivatives, models, correlations, VaR, etc.·       Technical knowledge: Excel, VBA, databases/SQL, Bloomberg·       Fluent in English·  Experience in portfolio analysis and risk analysis.
