POSITION SUMMARYGIP(Global Integration Platform) Analyst is responsible for environment monitoring, maintenance, setup and configuration changes of the Global Integration Platform (also known as GIP and Bridge) which includes technologies such as Azure Integration Services, Azure Data Factory and BizTalk server.GIP analyst leads the quality assurance and regression testing providing valuable feedback to the developers and solution architects including solution design changes. Issues that require changes or further debugging are escalated to the architects / external support team. Very detailed solution and business process knowledge is required to effectively perform this task.The role proactively engages with interoperability architects from various platforms GIP is connecting for debugging and maintenance purposes. The role needs to understand the technical as much as the business process side of solutions.The role keeps an updated responsible contact list in the solutions catalogue portal and communicates about maintenance/availability of GIP to the right stakeholders.Provides monthly reporting of major incidents and problems with root cause analysis and actions to take to avoid in future.Engages with strategic vendors and business stakeholders when escalating investigations or when higher level of expertise is required.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintenance Monitor GIP system reports, dashboards, propose & take proactive action to ensure GIP continues to deliver services within the KPIs and SLAAct as primary contact for IT Operations related to infrastructure maintenance and upgradesPropose upgrades of infrastructure and other services to ensure continued operation of GIPQuality Assurance / Regression testing Follow-up requests from deployment teams related to solution quality assurance and regression testingDebug, take corrective actions or escalate to the relevant center of excellence if neededArrange for regression tests to be performed when requiredKeep key stakeholders updated on incident/problem status until resolution achievedManage the automation of regression and quality assurance testing as much as possible (external vendor)Perform setup of GIP when requiredCommunication/Reports/Dashboards Manage monthly reports on major incidents and downtime of GIP (external vendor)Manage the root cause analysis for all major incidents (external vendor)Manage integration dashboards, investigate and escalate in case issues are detected (external vendor)KEY COMPETENCIES AND KPIsEducation: Computing Graduate (or equivalent)Experience / Background:Min. of 5 years on an Integration services experienceExperience in the Consumer Goods industry is desirableGood understanding of programming languagesSkills / Competencies:Ability to work with various cultures, languages and nationalities (the role is global)Understanding of Azure integration services, Azure Data Factory and Biztalk is advantageousSurface understanding of Oracle JDE and/or Dynamics NAV is advantageousUnderstanding of SOAP/XML, REST/JSON, AS2 and other integration standards is requiredAbility to quickly learn new technologies and standardsProven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniquesStrong interpersonal & communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with a wide variety of people from end users to deep, technical expertsStructured, methodical, organized, and proactive (self-starter)Customer oriented attitudeInterest in the business and how it worksTeam playerAwareness of priorities and business impact of issuesExcellent English language skills (both verbal and written)Team management: External vendor’s teamAvailability for traveling 10%+ of timeThe position can be in Paris, London, Warsaw or LjubljanaJob Posting End Date:Target Hire Date:2021-01-14-08:00
