We currently have an opportunity for one Junior Process Engineer based in our Paris Headquarters Office. Job Description: DORIS Engineering is looking for a junior engineer wishing to perform design and process engineering studies in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy markets and wishing to work in a team. You will be involved in a large range of projects from conceptual to detail engineering design with a wide variety of activities, including but not limited to:– Definition of design basis and dimensioning rules;– Modeling and simulation of hydrocarbon production processes;– Establishment of material, energy and utility balances;– Sizing calculations of hydrocarbon production equipment and utilities such as separators, columns, pumps, compressors, exchangers, control valves, …;– Development of process diagrams (PFD, UFD, P & ID, PSD, ESD);– Establishment of lists of equipment and lines;– Writing specifications and equipment data sheet;– Writing calculation notes and study reports;– Writing principles of operation and control of facilities. The position will be attached to the Process Department. You will be assigned within a multi-discipline (piping, mechanical, instrumentation, 3D model, safety…) project team, under the responsibility of the Lead Process Engineer. You will also participate in maintaining DORIS experience and adapt methodologies and knowhow to the evolution of state of the art and to the market needs. This includes involvement in R&D activities through internal studies and development of engineering, calculation and modeling tools. The position could evolve towards a position of Senior Process Engineer or Lead Process Engineer. Qualifications & Requirements:– A degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering (MS or equivalent), starting or having a first significant experience;– Good knowledge of thermodynamics, hydraulics, thermal, process simulation (HYSYS or equivalent), numerical computation and computer programming are required;– Fluent English – Good written (including report writing) and verbal communication;– Mobility required for abroad assignment on Projects and collaboration with foreign DORIS subsidiaries.
