The Position
Master Data Manager

Job Summary

Role
Define & implement process, methods to manage data at RAC (Refractory, Abrasives, and Construction market) level Identify & Resolve critical data management topics Lead Data Management projects, interface with Data Owner at Group level Responsibilities :
Responsible for defining and implementing policies and procedures for the day-to-day operational and administrative management of systems and data with the Data Source Operators — including
the creation, storage, processing, and transmission of data to internal and external systems defining the values, ranges, and parameters that are acceptable for each data element Privacy, Security, and Risk Management (retention, archival, and disposal requirements / compliance with regulations) the criteria for data access authorization based on role and/or the individual, working closely with IT to establish controls. Understand the Data domain documentation defined by Data Owners (Structures, Rules, Policies, Glossaries, Models…), to derivate it on the creation of dedicated rules and policies by sources Transform the Data documentation in Data Quality control checks and corrections enabling the creation of master data Golden records using data extractions, master data management tools, matching algorithms and other stewardship technics Coordinate subject matter experts (i.e. Customer codification and creation process, segmentation, Commercial Product and Product groups, ERP Product and Product creation process, Standard costing) Ensure Master Data is maintained up-to-date in systems (i.e. BI, CRM) and coordinates / leads so that Data are created and up-to-date in the ERPs Key interfaces: strong partnership to be built with (i) Sales organizations, (ii) Finance, (iii) Product Managers, (iii) Customer Service (iv) IT, (v) Finance, (vi) Group Data management team Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and project management skills Very strong quantitative and analytical capabilities Strong strategic understanding of business topics Financial competencies Ability to lead and work as part of a team Others: strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, ability to propose solutions Advocate for data integrity Qualifications and experience:
Previous experience in financial controlling / project management / Data Management Strategy and Information Technology experience is added advantage Education: Master’s degree with a specialization in Finance or IT, Engineering. Experience: more than 3 years in relevant positions (Business, Financial, Data management) Technical skills: excellent writing skills, SAP Knowledge Language: fluent in English Position Type Full time
