To ensure high speeds, high bandwidth and low latency, you will work closely with the various teams in France and worldwide. Network Programs Team Description:As part of its development, OVH is looking for a Network Project Manager to join the Network Programs team.This team is in charge, for OVH group, of deploying and evolving its network infrastructure, in datacenter and in “Point of Presence”, respecting allocated budget and due date.You work in an IT environment in close collaboration with the NetOps operational teams, the largest IP Service Provider and the largest Network equipment supplier.Tasks and responsibilities:• You create a dynamic and coordinate the different skills of the Network Unit • You adapt, oversee and prioritize the activities with the Network Unit to integrate the evolutions and constraints of the activity.• You define and validate the intervention schedules with coherence regarding all the steps of the project.• You are the Budget Owner for any infrastructure network project or for growth project you are working on.• You define plan and participate in negociation purchases for projects with the purchasing Team.• You animate the supplier / Provider relationship with the purchasing Team.• You work closely with Supply and Stock Services.• You write the reports and follow-up • You anticipate and prevent risks to ensure that objectives are met.• You ensure the reporting to the various actors of the project.• And you document in internal and external tools all the Projects’s informations.
Required profileIdeally Master’s Degree, you justify a first successful experience in project management.Required SkillsMust have :Strong Project Management skills.Ability to work in a team and lead meetings / working groups.Experience in a telecom network carrier (Good understanding of a network architecture).Able to work closely or even without a procurement team/Manage and lead a negotiation with multiple providers (RFI,RFP,RFQ).High level of documentation, presentation and communication.Ability to problem solve and rationalize when under pressure.Fluent English (written and spoken).Flexible, open to changesStrong adaptability and strong autonomy.Nice to have :Able to know how to troubleshoot an optical link (light level readings).Backbone Network understanding (building and components).Able to read and understand a basic Master Service Agreement.Your project management skills, your organization and your rigor, combined with a relational and editorial ease make you as a privileged interlocutor with all internal and external contacts.
